Our Projects

After we moved into our new place, Derek and I tried our hand at refinishing some furniture. We found Derek's mom's old bed from when she was a little girl in Grandma's garage and refinished it for Halle to sleep on. She loves her big girl bed!
Then Derek found this old beat up desk at the DI for $15!!! What a steal! He sanded it down, painted it, and we got new hardware for it. We love it. It was kinda fun to be in the backyard and being handy.

Jess!!!! You don't even know how happy I was to see the link to your blog on Stacey blog!!! I have thought of you and Derek many times since you guys left!!!! You look so cute with your belly!!! When are you due? It looks like you're pretty close! I was so sad when I found out that you guys had left Rexburg, I wish I could have said goodbye! Life gets so hectic though, and you will find out that with 2 it just gets even worse. Oh man! I need your email address and your phone # so we can catch up! I have a whole bunch of pictures on our blog www.familiajensen.blogspot.com
Let me know how you're doing and where you are. I don't even know where you guys moved. Keep me posted!

hey jessica! it's so nice to stumble upon your blog. I can't believe you're pregnant again! well, i can...let's be honest, you're a babe. You look great, too. I am so excited to see this little thing and it's going to be so great to have another little one running around. But like denisse said, i'm sure you'll be pretty dang busy! Hallie should be a good big sister and a great help! anyway...i went to a mary kay meeting the other night with this girl from our ward and there was this lady there that totally reminded me of that woman that came to idaho from oregon that we all went to. i even walked up and asked her if she came..it wasn't her, but it made me think of you! so i was super glad to find your blog. good luck with the newest one and i look forward to reading all about it on your blog!

Hi Jess,
I was really happy to find your blog! You look great. I can't believe you are only two weeks away from delivering! We moved from Rexburg to Nampa about 2 months ago. Andrew is doing the rennovation on the State Capitol. We love it here but miss our friends from Rexburg. So happy to find you! -Amber Wolford

Your furniture looks great! And I love your new background! Did you get it from the same person I did mine through- matiekay.blogspot.com? If so, how did you get the pictures on the right column to fit so well? I've been having some problems, and can't figure it out. Good luck with the arrival of you baby soon. We hope everything goes well. E-mail me if you can. Thanks!!
