I'm finally doing it!

Okay, I’m such a procrastinator, but I was tagged a couple of times and it has taken me FOEVER to think of six things to share about myself. Well, here it goes…

1. My shows – Oprah and The O'Reilly Factor – I watch these shows almost religiously, and Derek teases me about having an affair with the Factor program. Bill O’Reilly talks about the news and politics (which I love, for those of you who don’t know I minored in Political Science). I have always loved Oprah, I don’t always agree with her, but I think here show is fun to watch and gives helpful advice. I recently love when Dr. Oz is on, and trying the health stuff that he suggests. Derek and I made that “green drink” a few weeks ago… totally gross!!!

2. I love to sing loud in the car – it’s a release when I’m excited, sad, mad, or any mood, I’ll find a song to rock out to about it( I’m the same way with journaling, it’s my own therapy). Halle has recently picked up on this too and she has the chorus to several songs memorized and sings along with me. Her current favs are Beautiful (James Blunt), Me & God (Josh Turner), Cable Car (The Fray), and of course Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and the ABC’s. I can always get a smile out of Reese when I’m singing Celine Dion’s new song “Taking Chances”.

3. Dr. Pepper – What can I say, I’m from Texas and it’s a favorite down south. When my family goes out to eat, it’s like ordering water, everyone always gets it. When I come home from Dallas, I go through withdrawals trying to ease off of it! I’m really just kidding, but I do LOVE the stuff.

4. I LOVE cereal! I could eat it for every meal… well, maybe that’s a bit too extreme, but it is sooo yummy. And my poor husband, good thing he loves it to, cause that’s what we sometimes have for dinner, I know I’m awful! Oh, and I hate nuts. The only way I eat them is in a Snickers bar.

5. I am a planner – I am the queen of to do lists, writing down goals and planning to the T how I will accomplish them, I don’t always follow through, but I have to have a plan. It probably drives my hubby nuts, because if things don’t work out I freak for a moment and then I’m pulling out a piece of paper and drawing out a new game plan.

6. I love bubble baths with candles and reading in the tub. It is my little sanctuary. A GREAT book I just finished is “Twilight” by Stephanie Meyer. It’s seriously soooo good.
