Fun in the snow, pierced ears, first hair cut, friends... and Burley Boys won State!!!

Here are some pics of us sledding probably a month ago. It was soooo much fun and Halle couldn't get enough of it. I know it has taken me a while to post lately, I have no good excuses. We are so ready for spring to get here we can hardly wait. I was contemplating starting a preschool out of my home, and so I had some of my friends kids come over and have a play school day. It was soooo much fun, but I decided not to do one, I just don't think I can commit to a year of doing it right now. So we will probably do something like Joy school with some friends in the ward.
About a month ago my friend Angie and I had this idea to do lunch with all our girlfriends like every other week at my house and just have everyone bring something lunchy. It has been so much fun! We invite like the most random group of girls and because we live in Burley, everyone shows up and already knows each other. It's so funny to me.
It has taken so long for Halle's beautiful curls to come in and she just got her first hair cut. She was so proud of herself and felt like a big kid. Thanks Katie!
We also got Reese's ears pierced on Saturday, she was so brave and only cried for a minute. I tried taking a picture but I'm not sure you can see them.
This last weekend we have been in Boise visiting family and friends and watching lots of basketball! Burley went to state and so we went to games Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. And they won! It was so fun to watch them play, Halle loves the games and Reese just slept the whole time in her pouch that I wear. Derek and I got to go to the temple too, for the first time in FOREVER and grandma babysat the kiddos. It was so great and we also ran into his grandma that we haven't seen in awhile while we were there. I love the temple and I'm so excited we are going to have one so close to us in Twin Falls soon!
Well, thats a little update on how we are doing. Promise I'll keep up on this blog better!
Love you all!

Halle looks so cute. You can see the cute pierced ears. We should have done that for Kennedy. Everyone thought she was a boy...it was so sad...even dressed head-to-toe in pink. I love the Joy School idea and the lunch group. I wish I was part of something like that. I don't really do much of anything these days...maybe I should start one up myself. I am so ready for spring too! It was fun to "catch up" on your blog! :)

Fun post and cute picts. Your girls are just adorable. I wish I could have been in Boise with you. It sounds like it was a blast.
I finally got that part in the mail. I will bring it home a week from today. I'm coming home to watch my little sisters while my parents are at a concrete convention. We'll have to hang out.
You have a beautiful little family.

What cute kids you have!!

I do a joy school with some of my friends. It is so nice to have a break from Emma and she loves it!

I responded to you comment on my blog and I am not sure if you saw it. We were going to move to Burley. We even picked out a lot and a home to build on it! But...it didn't end up working out and we aren't coming anymore. I was so excited to meet you all too! I guess we will have to get together sometime when Jason and I are visiting.

Hi Jessica! I said I would come and say hi on your blog (which is very cute, by the way!) so here I am! Your girls are so dang cute and I'm still thinking about how darling Reese was today when she fell asleep in my arms! That was such a nice note your hubby left above! That'll be so nice to have him back again! Adios for now!
