Happy 3rd Birthday Halle!!! & The Oakley 5K

Today is Halle's 3rd Birthday! I can't believe it's been three years! She is such an amazing little girl: smart, funny, thoughtful, kind, sweet to her lil sis and her many friends, the girliest girl ever, and loves to play ball, makes up songs, and dances, prays all by herself, creative, and the list could go on and on (of course I'm her mother so I think she's just the greatest ever!)
On Saturday I ran in the Oakley 5K with the Dining Divas... it was so awesome! I am so proud of us. We are definantly doing the next race and the next and the.... I think I'm addicted now! We had these matching pants made and we all got a free t-shirt (oh, the small pleasures in life;)!) Halle also ran in the 5o yard dash and had so much fun. She smiled so big the whole time and ran as fast as she could. We are so proud of her.
We also had a Purple Princess party for Halle and she had such a fun time, and got spoiled rotten! We made crowns and played "prince, princess, frog" (duck, duck, goose). It is so funny, because when I turned five, I had a Purple Princess Party as well and my mom made purple crowns for the kids. I think it is so weird how our kids are like us in different ways, I promise I didn't give her any ideas about what kind of party whe wanted, and she came up with this one all on her own. I need to find the pictures from my party and post them next to hers. Anyway, it was a great day and we feel so blessed to have so much wonderful family and many great friends here.

I can't believe you did the 5K... how long exactly is that? :) Well, the purple princess party looked like lots of fun. Sorry I didn't come down there that weekend, my car's fault (still not fixed). We gotta get together before I move in 4 weeks from today! Ah! Oh yeah, I gotta do that tag thing. Love ya girl.

Happy Birthday Halle!!! Looks like a fun little birthday party! It will be fun to see pictures from your party... How fun to have all the family around! I really like your hair the way it is right now... straight instead of flipped out! When are you coming to Texas again?
